Doors, Entrances, and Hardware

A building entrance needs more than intact glass to operate properly. Herzog Glass services commercial doors, closers, pivots, hinges, locks, panic hardware, automatic operators, revolving doors, and other entrance components. We can diagnose doors that drag, bind, fail to latch, close improperly, or no longer operate reliably. We coordinate the complete repair, including specialized service when required.

Who we work with

Service for Property Managers and Building Owners

Commercial glass repair often involves more than replacing a broken pane. The correct glass, framing components, hardware, and installation method must be identified before an effective repair can be completed. Herzog Glass brings more than 60 years of glazing experience to this work. Our service technicians understand commercial glass systems and building entrances, while our office team coordinates access, estimates, material procurement, scheduling, and communication.

Our 30,000-square-foot fabrication facility allows us to cut, edge, drill, and prepare many glass products in-house. This gives us greater control over custom work and can reduce delays when outside tempering, insulating, or specialty processing is not required. We provide one-time repairs as well as ongoing service for property managers, building owners, facility teams, retailers, and businesses with multiple locations.

Questions

Frequently Asked Questions

Do you provide emergency glass service outside regular business hours?

Yes. Herzog Glass provides emergency glass response 24 hours a day, seven days a week. If broken glass or a damaged entrance has left your property unsafe or unsecured, call our emergency service number.

Will you replace the glass during the initial emergency visit?

That depends on the glass type, size, and system. If the correct replacement is not immediately available, our team can remove hazards and temporarily secure the opening. We will then obtain measurements and coordinate the permanent replacement.

Do you repair commercial doors and hardware?

Yes. We repair and replace commercial entrance doors and hardware, including closers, pivots, hinges, panic hardware, locks, and automatic door components. The available repair options depend on the door system, its condition, and the availability of compatible parts.

Can you service any type of automatic door?

Yes. Herzog Glass services all types of automatic doors and operators, including sliding, swinging, folding, and revolving entrance systems. We can diagnose the problem and coordinate the glass, door, hardware, and operator work needed to complete the repair.

Can you replace fogged or failed insulated glass?

Yes. Fogging or condensation between the panes commonly indicates that an insulated glass seal has failed. We can evaluate the existing unit, obtain measurements, and replace the glass without necessarily replacing the complete window or framing system.

Do you service residential glass as well?

Yes. Our service team works on both commercial and residential glass, including shower doors, mirrors, and interior glass components. For custom residential fabrication, see our residential glass services.
