Back-Painted Glass and Custom Colors
Back-painted glass provides a smooth, durable surface for kitchens, bathrooms, offices, and custom architectural features. Herzog Glass uses OPACI-COAT-300 from ICD High Performance Coatings to create glass in a broad range of colors.
Colors can be selected from established standards or closely matched to paint colors, finish samples, and other materials in your space. Common applications include:

In-House Glass Fabrication
Herzog Glass operates an approximately 30,000-square-foot fabrication facility where our team cuts, edges, drills, paints, and prepares glass for residential and commercial projects. These capabilities allow us to produce custom sizes, shapes, openings, edge finishes, and other details required for a precise fit.
Keeping measurement, fabrication coordination, and installation within one experienced team gives us greater control over fit, finish, quality, and scheduling. We work from field measurements, templates, architectural drawings, and design specifications to produce everything from individual replacement pieces to larger custom glass installations.

Can you fabricate glass in a nonstandard size or shape?
Yes. We fabricate glass in custom dimensions and shapes and can accommodate cutouts, holes, polished edges, custom angles, and other project-specific details. The available options depend on the glass type, size, and intended use.
Can you replace a broken glass tabletop or shelf?
Yes. We can often use the existing piece as a template or work from measurements to fabricate a replacement. Our team can also help determine the appropriate glass thickness, edge finish, and safety-glazing requirements.

Do you install the glass you fabricate?
Yes. Herzog Glass provides professional installation for custom residential glass throughout our service area. We can also fabricate certain items for pickup or installation by others, depending on the project.
